Dinosaur discoveries are exciting events, and the world usually makes a stir about it. However, it’s easy to miss the news, especially when surrounded by crime and noise about the bad things happening in the world. Fortunately, you don’t ever need to miss one again when you follow Ancient Beasts.

For example, did you know that 2021 alone had several dinosaur discoveries that so many people don’t even know about? Newly excavated bones of the Supersaurus revealed just how long the massive creature may have been. An oviraptorosaur was discovered sheltering its eggs with seven fossilized embryos!

With these sections below, you’ll have the latest news on exhibitions you can attend, when new expeditions are planned, and which events are going live within the next few months. We’ll cover as much detail as possible so you know what to expect.

Dinosaur Discoveries

There are three primary sections we’ll be covering for dinosaur discoveries. We want to cover as much news in these categories as possible, but we’ll make sure you don’t miss them by showing them on our Blog page too.

Here are the topics we have available for you to browse.

Dinosaur exhibitions are locations where experts and curators places fossils on display. They may even have rendered skins and statues to show you what the ancient beasts might have looked like in the past. It’s an exciting way to get more in touch with them in a more physical form and feast your eyes on their majesty.

There are plenty of dinosaur exhibitions for adults and children if you know where to look. We’ll review as many as we can find in different locations worldwide, giving you a taste of what you can expect. We’ll also put up image galleries from people that have visited there before.

On our Dinosaur Locations page, we covered excavation sites where students and volunteers can assist. In this section, we’ll focus on any expeditions that you can go on to view these locales. There’s a high probability you’ll need to pay for the tour, but we’ll see if we can find any free ones.

These dinosaur expeditions are mostly for tourists who want to know if there are any excavation or exhibition tours they can join. Even if you already live in the region, there’s no harm in taking some time off to view the ancient beasts or their remains. We’ll also provide news on any scientific expeditions underway.

There are museums and organizations that create events for people to witness a new exhibition or something that they’ve discovered. Sometimes they do so to create more awareness or raise funds for a good cause. Whatever the reason, we’ll do our best to cover these dinosaur events in this section.

Do you have an event you’d like to announce? You can also contact us about the detail via email or on social media. Be sure to tell us as much about it as you can, and we’ll list it on our page.

We want to keep tabs on all the latest dinosaur news as it appears. It may be that there’s a new discovery related to a species, or perhaps they have a new scientific method of dating fossils. Whatever it is, we’ll be sure to keep you updated in this section.
